Pride of Ruwais winners announced
Community and business leaders came together last week to recognise the people and places that make Ruwais a special place to live.
More than 100 Ruwaisians gathered at Al-Yash 5 for the inaugural Pride of Ruwais Awards, hosted by Mubarak Obaid Al Mansouri, ADNOC's Ruwais City Unit Manager.
He said: "I hope that the Pride of Ruwais Awards becomes a staple of Ruwais life… a date that everyone marks into their calendars eagerly, an awards programme to which people aspire, and which inspires."
The night's big winner was Hamad Al Aydaroos who was recognised for his incredible work in Youth Ministries, safety programmes at work, and in passing on cultural knowledge of the UAE. Mr Al Aydaroos won both the Lifetime Achievement Award and Cultural Betterment category.
